What Is Employability and Employment Centre (E2C)?
E2C is a service by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) that supports persons on the autism spectrum to prepare for, obtain, and sustain meaningful employment.
We also work closely with employers to create inclusive and supportive workplaces.
What jobs can individuals with autism do?
People with autism have their own unique niches and preferences for certain types of jobs, which should be matched to employment opportunities. Some of the most common jobs are cleaning, F&B, stocking, and office work. However, there are other jobs that people with autism can perform. Many people with autism also have special talents in areas such as art, music, computing, and Maths.

E2C assigns a trained job coach to each client.
The job coach will:

- Explain workplace rules and company policies with clarity
- Support communication with supervisors and colleagues
- Educate employers and co-workers about autism when needed
- Mediate between the client, employer, and family if challenges arise
- Gradually reduce support as the client becomes more independent, where possible
