Membership to Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) entitles you to:
- Voting rights (except for Junior and Staff Membership)
- Right to hold office in ARC(S) Management Committee (except for Junior and Staff Membership)
- Attend ARC(S) Annual General Meeting
- Updates on ARC(S) services and news
In addition, members can utilise the following resources in ARC(S) Khoo Teck Puat Resource Library, which is open to the public:
- Videos to be viewed within the library
- Reference books, magazines and articles to be read in the library
Membership Categories
Ordinary Membership
Ordinary Membership is open to individuals who are 21 years of age and above. Known as Ordinary Members, they will have the right to vote and the right to hold office in ARC(S).
Junior Membership
Junior Membership is open to all individuals who are below 21 years of age. Junior members do not have the right to vote or the right to hold office in ARC(S).
Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership is open to any company, association or body of persons, corporate or unincorporated. The highest-ranking individual in the company, association or body of persons or his designate will be the representative of the Corporate Member. The representative or his appointed designate has the right to vote and the right to hold office in ARC(S) on behalf of the Corporate Member.
Professional Membership
Professional Membership is open to all individuals who are 21 years of age and above and who are in professional and semi-professional occupations, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, speech and language therapists, teachers, medical doctors, paediatricians, occupational therapists, general practitioners and neurologists. Professional members have the right to vote and the right to hold office in ARC(S).
Ordinary Life Membership
Individuals who qualify to be Ordinary Members of ARC(S) can, upon application and approval from the ARC(S) Management Committee and payment of the one-time prescribed fees, be Ordinary Life Members of ARC(S). They have the right to vote and the right to hold office in ARC(S).
Professional Life Membership
Individuals who qualify to be Professional Members of ARC(S) can, upon application and approval from the ARC(S) Management Committee and payment of the one-time prescribed fees, be Professional Life Members of ARC(S). They have the right to vote and the right to hold office in ARC(S).
Staff Membership
Staff Membership is open to individuals who are 21 years of age and above and who are engaged as employees of ARC(S) under a contract of service. Known as Staff Members, they will not have the right to vote or the right to hold office in ARC(S).
