Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage activities pertaining to the effective maintenance and management of the facilities in the School
  • Manage and liaise with contractors, agents and vendors in fulfilling their contractual obligations
  • Manage renewal of term contracts and update the contractual records
  • Respond and follow-up on enquires and requests from staff on facilities in the School
  • Source for quotations to carry out maintenance works, evaluate and submit recommendation for approval
  • Update and manage the preventive maintenance schedule
  • Administer the planning and implementation of additions, routine changes and major modifications
  • Oversee building and facility-related asset purchases and management on a school-wide basis
  • Management of inventory lists for all equipment and items
  • Verify payments and claims from vendors / contractors
  • Manage the renewal and compliance of necessary building and facilities permits and inspections
  • Recognise and present necessary improvements
  • Provide logistics support to School’s examinations and events
  • Ensure readiness of facilities, meeting rooms and classrooms for School’s examinations and events
  • Any other responsibilities as and when required by the Operations & Estate Management Team

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Building Management / Facilities Management / Engineering, or relevant
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Technical and Facilities Operations and Maintenance
  • Strong organizational skills with strong detail orientation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team
  • Desire to learn about Autism and possess the passion to serve the special needs community
